Traveler, writer, yada yada.
A staged reading of Something To Do was performed on September 26, 2026.
a new play by Allison E. Conway
Allison likes to travel. Favorites include, but are not limited to, Jordan for the food, Egypt for the history, Austria for the scenery, and Vietnam for the hustle and bustle set in the jungle. A very long time ago, she wrote a bestselling book about how important your platonic relationships are. She ran a successful web design business for about 10 years but following a series of unfortunate events, which included two broken elbows, the business went bankrupt (bankruptcy before 30? très chic). She then got a corporate job where she was bored out of her fucking mind and then subsequently got fired for reasons that still don’t quite make sense.
Then she needed something to do.

SOMETHING TO DO
Corin and Capin are each other’s biggest obstacle–and only hope.
When they’re more focused on each other’s weaknesses than strengths, outrage and sabotage become their normal. Corin relies on Capin too much, and Capin doesn’t rely on Corin enough. But when they’re able to see what’s right in front of them, they can both step in to who they were meant to be all along.
